Have several different nuts at home and always buy different kinds as in each kind of nut you will find other important nutrients.

If you do not enjoy sweets you can eat vegetables as a snack. Cut them into finger-bite size and put them into a plastic container or bag. Chocolate is not a raw food, but it can be taken as an exception from the rule. Get chocolate with a high content of cocoa. You can find chocolate with 90% and 98% cocoa.
Instead of buying nut-chocolate, put some nuts on an aluminium foil, put pieces of chocolate with 90-98% cocoa content on top of the nuts. The same you can do with all kinds of fruit or pieces of fruit, which also makes a beautiful dessert. Or cut a date in length, take out the kernel, replace it with a piece of chocolate and put it into the oven for 3 minutes. You can eat the date with the melted chocolate or wait until the chocolate got firm. It is very good for children as the nutrients of dried fruits and nuts are good for the brain and they give energy, which is needed in winter.
